Did I Ever Miss Home?
Being a crypto nomad is fun because it offers new experiences — meeting strangers, discovering hidden gems, and embracing cultures that couldn’t be more different.
But despite all the excitement and novelty, this little tug in my heart always asks, “Don’t you miss home?”
Isn’t it funny how a simple thing like tap water can hit you with a wave of nostalgia? I still can’t get over how different the water in Tyrol, Austria, tastes. It’s so fresh, so pure, so homey.
You might think it’s silly, but there’s something deeply comforting — like the taste of home that stays with you no matter where you go.
Is there such a thing as “travel fatigue” for a nomad?
I’ve been everywhere, from the towering skyscrapers of Singapore to the ancient ruins of Jordan, but now and then, I catch myself wishing for the familiar hills of Austria or the smell of pine trees after a fresh rain.
It’s not about the place; it’s the feeling of home that sticks with you.
